Twin Draft Booths

AER Control Systems AER Twin Draft Booths with Media Filter Units are designed to provide efficient, cost effective control of all metal dust contaminants generated from
a variety of manufacturing and process applications. Typically used for control of low to moderate concentrations of contaminants, the TD series booths can be used for welding, grinding, polishing, and dry buffing. The AER Twin Draft Booths consist of a downdraft table work table to draw the particulate down into the table and a slotted backdraft to draw the rising particulate such as fume and smoke. The booth contains the particulate inside the booth and does not allow the particulate to become airborne. The AER Twin Draft Booths with Media Filter Units will help with compliance to local OSHA regulations by drawing contaminants away from the operator’s breathing zone.

The AER Twin Draft Booths with Media Filter Units comes standard with powder coated steel construction, direct drive non-sparking blower and TEFC motor, choices of multiple filters depending on application and type of particulate to be collected. The main filter is a 95% ASHRAE fiberglass or MERV 14 filter. Three standard booths with downdraft tabletop and backdraft sizes are available 30” x 36”, 30” x 48”, and 33” x 72”. Table top air velocities are approximately 250 feet per minute and backdraft velocities are slightly less. Typical table top loads for the booths are 50 lbs per square foot.
